Acreage homes
Larger lots on rural-residential and acreage land across Logan, the Gold Coast hinterland and Brisbane outer south. Site coordination · access, services, retaining, septic where needed, landscape coordination · all run through one builder.
Pole homes
Elevated builds on timber or steel poles, set into footings engineered for the block. Pole construction has its own engineering rules · footing depth, retaining, span, deck connections, council overlays. Strong on sloping, split-block and difficult-terrain sites.
Knockdown & rebuild
Demolition and new build on the same lot, run as one contract. Suits buyers who've outgrown a Brisbane suburb home and want to stay in it · Sherwood, Gordon Park, Cornubia, Rochedale. Demolition, services disconnection, council and full custom new build from one team.
Renovations
Large-scale residential renovation work · structural changes, kitchen and bathroom rebuilds, layout reworks, second-storey extensions where the existing footprint allows. Done where the home is sound and the reno makes more sense than a rebuild.
Home extensions
Adding to an existing home · rear extensions, second-storey additions, granny flats and garage-to-living conversions. Council coordination, structural engineering and finish-matching to the original build.

Ben started his carpentry apprenticeship in 1998 after entering the trade in 1995. He worked through Contrast Constructions, Wally Williams, Hillside Living and the Pole Home Group · learning new homes, then learning the engineering of difficult-block builds. He earned his QLD building licence in the mid-2000s and founded Maddison Constructions in 2007, named for his daughter.

Our process is the same whether you're building a custom one-off in a Brisbane suburb or a pole home on a difficult Hinterland block. The reason it's repeatable is because we don't take the work that doesn't fit it.
Site walk + brief
Walk the block. Understand what you're trying to build and why. Honest read on whether we're the right builder · or whether we're not.
Plans + engineering
Architect's plans or our recommended designer. Engineering for the slope, retaining, footings. Council and overlay clearance.
Fixed-price contract
Standard QBCC residential contract. Stage payments. Allowances itemised. Inclusions and exclusions on paper, not implied.
Site through handover
6 to 12 months for a new home. Site supervisor on the build, not floating. Weekly progress, photographs, change orders documented.
Hand keys + cover
Practical completion walk-through. Domestic Building Insurance through QBCC. Statutory structural cover plus our own snag-list response.
